Laura Holsen wins Best Poster Award at BRI Aging and Cardiometabolic Health and Disease Research Symposium

PI Laura Holsen was awarded a Best Poster award from the Brigham Research Institute Cardiovascular, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases Research Center at their inaugural Aging and Cardiometabolic Health and Disease Research Symposium. Dr. Holsen presented a poster entitled “Memory Network Activation Associated with Insulin Resistance in Postmenopausal Women with Obesity” based on data from the WBI Neurocognitive Changes in Menopause study.

Sarah Boukezzi wins a WHISPR grant

Research fellow, Sarah Boukezzi, won a $25,000 grant from the Women's Health Interdisciplinary Stress Program of Research (WHISPR) at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Sarah discussed her proposal on April 3rd, 2019 during the 2nd annual WHISPR symposium. Her research aims to investigate the epigentics changes that occur during trauma.
